Sometimes people say that men experience "sympathy" symptoms...gaining sympathy weight, feeling sympathy sickness, etc. However, I think that I may be experiencing the reverse...I am turning into my husband!!
Recently my Pregnancy Brain has disappeared along with my entire Type B personality, and I suddenly don't know who I am anymore! Some call it Nesting, and if that's truly the case, then Gary has 4.5 more months of organized bliss! It's true. I know it's hard to believe, but recently I have been not only making lists, but actually accomplishing things on them! My desk AND the freelancer's desk at work are completely clean. It's driving me crazy that the entire contents of our kitchen cabinets is collected on the dining room table to escape the Crazy Ants. Laundry in the dryer must be folded, clean dishes in the sink barely have time to dry, etc. The list goes on and on.
Now there are some of you who may say, "What's the big deal? You're SUPPOSED to keep your desk clean." Well...you must not know me. :) I will take the small victories. And hopefully establish some great habits over the duration of my pregnancy.
Here's to productivity!
Also on a pregnancy-related note, I must say that feeling the baby move is one of my favorite parts of the day. I don't know how to describe it, but it's just so awesome to feel it - it's like the baby's saying, "Hey Mom! I'm down here! Don't forget about me!" The movements are still very sporadic, but Gary was finally able to feel it this week for the first time...so cool. We just can't WAIT to meet this little person!

Double-Take
There are certain moments in life that I wish I could just freeze in time. It's not very often that Gary and I feel encouraged about our house. It's like the little black cloud above our heads. However, last night we pulled up to the house after a trip to the park and just sat at the curb for a few minutes. It helped that Gary had just finished laying down the new mulch, the grass was freshly cut and the sun was going down casting the perfect amount of light in the sky, but it was definitely one of those Moments. I took a picture because I want to remember it next time I feel like crying because the ants invaded the kitchen for the 14th time.
I can't believe this is the same house that we bought two years ago.

Pillow Talk
"I can't believe we're going to be PARENTS."
"Yeah. (pause) Hahahaha."
"What's so funny?"
"You were daydreaming about the baby, weren't you?"
"Yes."
"I was daydreaming about cycling."
"Yeah. (pause) Hahahaha."
