Six Months of AWESOME

Last week Maggie turned SIX months.
While we certainly enjoy every month (every day, really) with our little gal, this was a really fun month of changes.

Events included:
- Her first two teeth
- Sitting on her own
- Her first ear infection
- Undergoing a LONGGGGG stretch of not sleeping through the night, which she thankfully broke at the beginning of this week
- Starting to smile and laugh on her own (without someone making her smile or laugh)
- She switched her bedtime from 10:30 to 7:30 (most nights...)
- Putting herself to sleep

This week she also has started taking at least one nap longer than 30 minutes. (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) That was my excitement in writing.

She continues to love to go outside, especially on walks and runs. (insert here blatant admiration and gratefulness for the inventor of the baby jogger). Fortunately, it has been a beautiful March, and we've been taking full advantage of the lack of snow.

She is constantly making us laugh with her funny faces and sounds. Everything goes in the mouth. (Hoping to start cereal sometime this week...)

I don't want to be overdramatic (ha!), but these have sincerely been the best six months of my life. Every minute. I wouldn't trade them for anything. Here are some pictures and moments (mainly for me to remember someday) of the past month:

Loves to be naked. Loves her feet. Loves covering herself (mainly her head) with blankets.

First attempt at the swing. As usual, no expression. Exactly what I would have expected her reaction to be.

Juicy Couture pj's (via TJMaxx clearance). Teaching her to appreciate the finer things at a young age. Also teaching her that she has a better wardrobe than either of her parents.

Exploring the wonders of Costco from a new perspective.

Love those rosy cheeks!!
