The Day in Pictures

I wouldn't say this is quite as dramatic as the last time I posted a Day in Pictures, but these are some of the things that are keeping me (and Maggie) busy lately.

I wouldn't say that Maggie is naughty, but she definitely has a mischievous side to her. Lately this side has been coming out a lot more. For example, most of these pictures were taken just today. And I should say that I did NOT do anything to set these up. I found her in all of these situations.

Desperate for something to throw to her in the backseat on our way home, but running low on toys in the diaper bag, I gave Maggie this granola bar to play with. SEALED. When we got home, I found it peeled open just like this. (How did she do that???) But instead of finding her with chocolate smeared all over her face like you would expect, she was gingerly picking off tiny pieces with her thumb and forefinger. I was laughing too hard to scold her. Well, guess she's had her first chocolate now.

Again, I say that I did NOT put her in this position. I turned around to throw something away, and here she was. This girl is FAST.

Caught in the act.

Maggie continues to LOVE doors. Today she figured out how to shut mine. After a few minutes stranded in the hall, I convinced her to let me back in the room.

Giving herself a kiss. Naturally.

Today she decided that it was way cooler to stand in the cart than sit facing me. I wish I had a picture of her after this as we were walking through the store - she was standing like she was at the helm of a ship, waving to everyone we passed.

Thirty minutes before Gary was due to get home, I went into the kitchen to start cleaning up from Maggie's dinner. Hearing the ever-so-susupicious sound of NOTHING, I raced into the room to find this. She was literally laying on the floor propped up on one arm making a pile of wipes as fast as she could on top of herself. We immediately left for a walk.

And this is life lately.

Hahaha! This made me smile. :) That last one reminded me of when Maya unloaded an entire box of kleenex in about twenty seconds... I think there is a picture on FB somewhere...

LOVE IT! don't you wonder how we don't weigh 90 lbs as busy as we stay with these bundles of energy. it is so funny the situations they get into. in the dishwasher? that's great. I think my 25lb-er would break the door off.

Silence at our house always means there are wipes everywhere.
